BAC STOP
BAC STOP is a low toxicity antibiotic made with Streptomycin Sulfate and non-sterile Hydrochloride, used to control and prevent plant diseases caused by bacteria, such as fire blight (Erwinia amylovora) of pear trees. It contains 4 nutrients that give strength to plant tissues and create a physical barrier against pathogen invasion (Potassium, Calcium, Copper and Boron). Streptomycin by foliar application has a great activity on phytopathogenic bacteria that cause leaf spots, blights, wilts and pulitions. Oxytetracycline exerts a good effect on bacteria and mycolomas when applied to infected plants, stops the development of the disease and induces the remission of symptoms. Streptomycin and Oxytetracycline are antibiotics that inhibit protein synthesis at the bacterial ribosome level, which causes the microorganism to reduce the probability of creating resistance.
BENEFITS:
- Controls and prevents plant diseases caused by bacteria.
- Provides nutrients (K, Ca, Cu and B) that strengthen plant tissues.
- Streptomycin and oxytetracycline inhibit protein synthesis in bacterial ribosomes.
- The nutritional components it provides act on the metabolism, development and strengthening of plant tissues.
- K regulates enzyme activity and is involved in photosynthesis, phosphorylation, protein synthesis, translocation, transpiration and reduces nitrates. It induces cell wall thickening and accumulation of amino acids (arginine).
- Ca is involved in the formation of the cell wall and pectate in the middle lamina and makes plants more resistant to pathogen penetration.
- CU is involved in lignin synthesis, has bactericidal and fungicidal action, and is involved in the synthesis of carbohydrates and proteins.
- B participates as a carbohydrate transporter, and promotes a higher ratio of carbon compounds over nitrogen compounds, generating less succulent tissues and greater resistance to pathogens. It also participates in lignin synthesis and xylem differentiation.
